TENTH LESSON: TITLE PAGE ACCORDING APA 7th EDITION

  Hello guys and welcome to another blog. Today we will learn how to make a title page according to APA 7th edition. A title must contain the following elements: Page number: It goes on the upper right side part of the page. Paper title: It goes centered on the half of the page, and it is recommended to be more than 12 words being from one to two lines. The first letter of each content word has to be capitalized. Subtitles begin on a new line, following the main title and a colon, centered in the upper half of the page   Author’s name:  Allison J. Quirós (First name, middle initials, and last name).  Hello and welcome to another lesson. In today's lesson, we are going to see how to make references in APA 7th Edition style. First of all, why is it important to put references and citations on your work? Well, it is important because you can be accused of doing plagiarism, also by putting references or citations, you are supporting all the information that you wrote in your work. In formal writing, we have two main sections in which we have to apply APA. As mentioned before, these are in-text citations and references. In-text citation The in-text citation uses the author's last name and the year of publication. "The first step is you have to say that you can" (Smith, 2015). EIGHTH LESSON: THE OUTLINE

 Today we are going to see how to elaborate an outline properly. First, let's see the outline's format. An outline has a maximum of 4 levels of detail. I. Roman Numbers            A. Capital letters                      1. Arabic numbers                                a. Low case letters  In roman numbers, you can place the main point and in the other levels, you can write a supporting idea or an example. There are three types of outlines. Topic Outline ( just phrases) Sentence Outline (complete sentences) Summary outline (summary of an essay) Example of Topic Outline. In the Arabic numbers, you can give examples and expand a little bit your ideas. I recommend that if you have A. B. C. on one or two points you better put A. B. C. on the other main points.
